Rogoznica

Rogoznica is a quiet and warm Mediterranean place at the very end of Northern Dalmatia. It stretches along 50 km of coastline and is an ideal place to relax with family and friends. Sailors are also happy to visit it because it is known as one of the most beautiful and safest ports on the Adriatic. The beaches in Rogoznica are pebbly, there are some rocks, and each village offers hidden beaches in many small bays. Rogoznica is also known for a number of entertainment and cultural events, organized by the Tourist Board, a time when the streets exude a special atmosphere.

The center of Rogoznica is located on the peninsula where mostly old stone houses have remained, which gives the Rogoznica waterfront an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. Most of the island is covered with pine forests and is ideal for walking and other types of recreation. The Rogoznica area is in the center of the Croatian coast. It is located in the extreme southeastern part of Šibenik-Knin County, on the border with Split-Dalmatia County. At Cape Ploče or Planka, the south wind and the bora collide, hot and cold currents. The climate is one of the most important tourist elements, and there are an average of 2,600 hours of sunshine in the Rogoznica area. During the four summer months, there are only 4 to 7 rainy days on average.
